Watch Me Put My Steel In Your Train

Source: Steeltrainrock.com

During January, SBC's Blueroom (Whatever the hell that may be) will air a behind the scenes look of Steel Train. They claim it will show a performance and an interview--Although I have convinced myself they forgot to mention the "1 Hour Look At Steel Train Hitting The Bong" feature.

It Takes Guts To Come Out And Admit They, In Fact, Don't Rock

Matchbook Romance have changed their Myspace URL from http://www.myspace.com/matchbookromancerocks to just http://www.myspace.com/matchbookromance.

Is this supposed to tell us something?

Only 9.99

Source: WhatIsMae.com

Mae's album, The Everglow, will be on sale for 9.99 from now (well, actually like 7 days ago), until November 12, at Best Buy. But, there are quite a few steps in obtaining this album, because Best Buy sucks and will surely not have it out on shelves.

Steps To Buying An Album From Best Buy:

1) Look around the cd aisles as if you are lost.
2) Stare at the Best Buy employees who will wander around aimlessly but never approach you directly, but don't ask for help quite yet.
3) Eventually, start scratching your head and mumbling.
4) Now, ask the Best Buy employee to check in the very back of the store for the CD.
5) First, they will type the album name into the computer, and then they shall act surprised when it says, "250 active," or whatever.
6) The employee will go in the back and come out with a copy of The Everglow by Mae. Purchase it, and enjoy.

Socratic Website Coming Soon. Astronaut Suit Not Included.

Source: Socraticmusic.com

Socratic has a new website in the works, thank God, to replace the piece of shit they have now. While a "Socratic in Space" design does not interest me (The band pictured in Chewbacca outfits should NOT be a turn on), it has got to be better than looking at the website and getting mental images of Kenny Chesney.

I May Be 8 Days Late With This One...But I Don't Fucking Care

This Providence's drummer, Paul Benson, has left the band. Why? Because he felt like it. Everyone says, "people can not be replaced," yet Ryan Tapert has already been reported to be filling in for Paul.

Absolute Blog

Ever since coming across one of the largest music e-zines on the Internet today, Absolutepunk.net, I have been inspired to create my own zine...But, due to how cheap I am and my lack of web designing knowledge, I have decided to go this route as a start, and just collect all the news from various band websites and whatnot and post it all here, in many series of blog entries. I know this will most likely (or most definitely) end in failure, but I want to see if the motivation I have always had to make a zine will stand strong and allow me to continue this blog, even if my eyes are the only one this gets exposed to.
